In the foreground there was an odd looking creature sitting on a fence looking directly out of the picture...it was unsettling
I’m not saying the place is haunted, I’m fairly sure in hindsight that nerves got the better of me and I was spooked by being alone there - I really was left alone it was made clear to me by staff making jokes etc the evening I arrived. The weather wasn’t great either lots of rain.
I went to the pub for a meal before going back to the manor and watched tv for a spell in the room just off the reception area. But even there, didn’t feel right. I wouldn’t want to repeat the experience. I felt watched and kept thinking I heard light switches being flicked. I stayed in the main building and was troubled by a picture on the wall. I kept the ensuite light on.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7694643024579592908.post-18151527720758413022010-06-02T17:15:08.023+01:002010-06-02T17:15:08.023+01:00Your home sounds wonderful and steeped in history ...Your home sounds wonderful and steeped in history I’ll wager.

Thank you for your comments on the post.Willowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03294303025936109088noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7694643024579592908.post-67199052903607380822010-06-02T14:49:59.619+01:002010-06-02T14:49:59.619+01:00Chilling. Not nearly as grand as Urchfont, it's just an comfortable house, built in 1927 in Central Ohio, with at least two known resident ghosts.

Willow + manor + ghosts. You definitely got my attention. Great post.Tess Kincaidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04889725786678984293noreply@blogger.com
